I'm not suggesting we change the record books for MLB by including them, but let's consider professional stats for a player like Matsui when asking the question "is this man a hall of famer?" Combine his Japanese and MLB stats and see he accumulated over 500 HRs, over 1600 RBI, over 1500 runs, over 2600 hits. Let's also remember his WS MVP.
